The Chicago Bulls are still trying to keep their play-in tournament hopes alive.

They used huge performances from DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine to grab a 139-131 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves in double overtime. DeRozan led the way with a season-high 49 points and 14 rebounds. It was the most points he scored since Mar. 31, 2022 and the most rebounds he had since Mar. 20, 2019.

“When we've got it rolling like that, it makes everything so much easier not even just to score, just to get everybody else involved,” DeRozan said.

LaVine had 39 points and Nikola Vucevic had 21. Since Anthony Edwards left the game in the first quarter due to an ankle injury, Mike Conley scored 28 points to lead the Timberwolves. Jalen McDaniels had 25 and Rudy Gobert had 21 points and 19 rebounds.
