Western Conference Recaps, May 10: Steph Curry Helps Golden State Stay Alive With Game 5 Win Against LeBron James, Lakers

The Golden State Warriors had been here before.

They've faced elimination plenty times, so this was nothing new. The Warriors simply calmly captured a 121-106 victory in Game 5 Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

“We're champions, so there's pressure every time you step on the floor,” Warriors forward Draymond Green said. “You go out there, you don't win people are ready to crush you. People forget about the things that you've done in the past.”

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 27 points while Andrew Wiggins added 25. LeBron James paced the Lakers with 25 points and nine rebounds.

“I have a lot of confidence we can come back in this series," Curry said. "And until otherwise, we stay in that kind of mindset.”
