Hornets Loose To Rockets 112-109 in Home Finale

Many in the NBA have skipped this game as both teams are eliminated in the playoffs. However, this is an intriguing one as it can provide an insight on the future of both teams including the Hornets. With all the injuries this team has had, it is the best time to look at who belongs and who doesn't.
INJURY REPORT vs HOU

Mark Williams is available to play
Ball (R Ankle Surgery) out
Martin (L Knee Soreness) out
Rozier (R Foot Discomfort) out
Hayward (L Thumb Sprain) out
Oubre (R Shoulder Strain) out
Washington (R Foot Sprain) out
Smith (R Great Toe Sprain) out@NovantHealth pic.twitter.com/ZdbJ2ik2Vc
Unfortunately the injuries were too much to overcome as the Hornets lost to the Houston Rockets. Although the Hornets did fight back and almost got this game into overtime. I truly wonder, what if the Hornets were 100% in this matchup? They would certainly not only win this game, but many more this season.
It just stinks that the Hornets could not get one last victory in there Home Game Finale for this season.
Player of the Game For Charlotte: G Theo Maledon
There is a case to be made that Svi Mykhailiuk deserves to be the player of the game, but Maledon impressed more. He had more of an impact with the amount of opportunities he created and assists he had in this matchup. Also MyKhailiuk had more turnovers (5 turnovers) then Maledon had (4 turnovers).
Maledon also had career highs in this game with steals and points scored as well in this matchup. He did well and hopefully he finishes strong in there final game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
