In this story:

Brandon Miller made a lot of headlines just a few days ahead of the draft by calling Los Angeles Clippers' forward Paul George his G.O.A.T of basketball. Not Michael Jordan, not LeBron James. Paul George.

While the team was out in Las Vegas for Summer League, Miller was able to meet up with George for an appearance on his podcast, Podcast P with Paul George.

At the beginning of the episode, George gave his reaction to being Miller's G.O.A.T. and told him not to fret over everyone making a big deal about it.

"It's amazing. It's humbling. It's an honor to be someone that the young generation look up to. But for me, it's all about paying homage to Kobe [Bryant]. What Kobe was for me, for my influence, and then from there it was just putting my touch on everything that I was able to do.

"The media, man, don't let that affect like who you are and let that shape your opinions. If that's how you feel...and granted, it could be anybody that you thought was your goat. If that's how you feel, don't let the media shape your idea and your viewpoints. The media is going to be nasty at certain times in your career and you gotta be able to accept that like, hey, I'm comfortable with who I am. Forget what they talking about. Yeah, there's been people that have been better than me, of course. There's a long list of guys that's better than me. But it's about who influenced you and who made that impact on you. I really feel like you're my lil' bro, dog. I'm getting that lil' bro energy. I love it."

George dapped up Miller a couple of times throughout the course of the show and expressed very clearly that he will be there for him as a mentor throughout his NBA career.

"Use me as a resource. I want to help you in every step that you need, if you need, and just make that journey a lot smoother and easier for you. You don't got to look at this as I'm a fan. I'm normal and humble and the same as you."
