The NBA Draft Lottery will be held on Tuesday, May 16. The Utah Jazz have some serious skin in the game and are hoping for Lady Luck to smile on the team.

Representing the Jazz at the Lottery will be point guard Collin Sexton. To conjure some good fortune for his team, Sexton revealed how he'll be bringing with him a good-luck charm or two to the event.

"I'm very, very excited to be representing the team at the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday," Sexton said via Jazz Twitter. "I will be bringing some special two-dollar bills here and there because I remember a tradition that my grandma and my great-grandma used to do is give two-dollar bills on birthdays as well as Christmas as a sign of good luck. So I'll have a few of them in my pocket so we can get a great, great draft pick."

Hey, let us not forget; Sexton is a very fortunate man. The odds he had to overcome to even make it to the NBA, let alone become a top-10 draft pick, are astronomical. He knows a thing or two about luck.

So if the two-dollar-bill method has served him in the past, let it also serve the Jazz on Tuesday night. It couldn't hurt, in any case.

The Jazz have a 20.3% chance of landing a top-4 pick in the Lottery and a 4.5% shot at landing the No. 1 overall pick. Most simulations have the Jazz landing at No. 9 in the draft.

Utah holds three first-round picks this year, and with a little help from Lady Luck, here's to hoping Jazz CEO Danny Ainge and GM Justin Zanik can make the most of that war chest.
