Jazz-Nuggets Injury Report: Aaron Gordan & Walker Kessler Update

The Utah Jazz will be looking to snap a 12-game losing streak versus the Denver Nuggets.

The Utah Jazz will attempt to snap their 12-game losing streak at the Delta Center versus the defending champion Denver Nuggets. Utah’s injury report is full of key contributors.

Walker Kessler (nose), John Collins (back), Keis Dunn (foot), and Jordan Clarkson are out. As for the Nuggets, Jamal Murray (knee), Kentavious Caldwell Pope (shoulder), Julian Strawther (ankle), and Michael Porter Jr. (knee) are probable, while Aaron Gordon (foot) is questionable.

It appears the Jazz have their eyes set on having the eighth best lottery odds with just four games remaining in the season. They currently have one more loss than the Brooklyn Nets, and they have a difficult schedule the rest of the way. Just like last season, Utah started out with an impressive start, only to have the front office pull the rug out from their postseason hopes at the trade deadline.

On the other hand, the Nuggets have a lot to play for heading into the contest. Denver is in a tie for the No.1 seed in the Western Conference with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The home-court advantage will likely come down to the game versus the Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

With Utah sitting most of its core players, the oddsmakers have Utah pegged as a 14.5-point underdog at home. That feels like a fair number, considering Utah has lost its last four games by an average of 18.5 points. The tip-off is at 7:00 pm MST.
