The Utah Jazz stand alone atop the NBA standings after taking down the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night for their eighth-straight victory. The Jazz have won 19 out of their last 20 games - most of those wins coming in convincing fashion. Over the last 20 games, the Jazz have found a variety of ways to win. On Monday night, it was Jordan Clarkson who scored a season high 40 points to lead the Jazz over the 76ers.

Clarkson's 40 points were the most by any Jazz player off the bench since Thurl Bailey scored 41 in 1988. Clarkson also tied the franchise record for most threes in a single game with eight made threes.

Most importantly, Clarkson provided a spark off the bench in the first quarter when the Jazz desperately needed it. A fantastic first quarter by Ben Simmons gave the 76ers an early double-digit lead. Clarkson entered the game when the Jazz were already down double digits, and he hit a series of quick threes to bring the Jazz back within striking distance.

By halftime, the Jazz had battled back to take a six-point lead into the break. Like we've seen from the Jazz over the past month, they were excellent in the second half. The 76ers would not go away, going on a 10-0 run to cut the lead to single digits. However, Utah always had an answer. A pair of threes by Royce O'Neale put the 76ers away late in the fourth.
