The Utah Jazz beat the Indiana Pacers yesterday afternoon 119-111. Utah will now travel to California to face off against the Los Angeles Lakers in back to back games.
Jazz vs Lakers Throwback:
The Jazz and Lakers are familiar foes who have taken each other on plenty of times throughout the years. Los Angeles owns the overall record against Utah 110-77 through the 187-games that these two teams have squared off.
The Jazz faced the Lakers earlier this season where Utah handed Los Angeles their biggest loss of the year. On February 24, Rudy Gobert led the Jazz to a 114-89 win over LeBron James and the Lakers.
The Jazz will break out their green uniforms for both games against the Lakers. Their Earned Edition uniforms have been a bit of a good luck charm for the Jazz as they've gone 4-1 in the newest edition to the uniform collection. Their last game in the jersey came in a win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
The big news this week came when it was announced that future NBA Hall-of-Famer Dwayne Wade has officially purchased an ownership stake in the Utah Jazz. Read our story about the purchase here:

The Jazz will play in their second game in back to back games against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Jazz currently own a 42-14 record and is in first place in the NBA. The Jazz lead the Phoenix Suns by one and a half games and the Los Angeles Clippers by four games in the Western Conference. They also lead the Philadelphia 76ers by three games and the Brooklyn Nets by four games in the Eastern Conference.
The Los Angeles Lakers are 34-22 this year and are currently in fifth place in the Western Conference and eighth place in the NBA. They are 2-3 in their last five games. During that span, the Lakers have wins over the Brooklyn Nets and the Charlotte Hornets. Their losses during the same period have come against the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, and Boston Celtics.
Donovan Mitchell (right ankle sprain) is 'out', Mike Conley (right knee soreness), and Rudy Gobert (right knee contusion) are 'questionable', and Derrick Favors (right knee soreness) is 'doubtful' for the game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers' Wesley Matthews (knee), Kyle Kuzma (calf), Andre Drummond (toe) and Dennis Schroder (foot) are 'probable', while Markieff Morris (ankle) is 'questionable' and LeBron James (ankle), Jared Dudley (knee), and Anthony Davis (calf) are all listed as 'out' against the Jazz.
