Jazz vs Grizzlies Throwback:

The Utah Jazz and Memphis Grizzlies have faced each other 94 times throughout the two team's histories. Utah leads the all time showdown record 61-33, and are currently on a five-game winning streak against Memphis.

Just four nights ago, Utah and Memphis matched up against each other at Vivint Smart Home Arena. After a Jazz win over the Grizzlies the night before, Utah didn't show any signs of slowing down,  beating Memphis 126-110. Donovan Mitchell scorched the nets for 42-points, while Joe Ingles added 7-assists and Derrick Favors chalked up 4-blocks during the game.

Key Players:

Mike Conley and Ja Morant will be the two players to watch out for during tonight's game. It's always been a great matchup between these two players and has the chance to once again be a solid matchup tonight. Conley takes on his former team and Morant looks to rise the ranks of young NBA stars.

Conley will look to lead the Jazz on offense as Donovan Mitchell will miss tonight's game due to personal reasons. Conley has been a staple for the Jazz this season and will look to make a mark against his former team this evening. Conley leads the Jazz in assists (5.5) and steals (1.3) and is third on the team in points (16.1) per game. In his last game against the Grizzlies, Conley led the team with 8-assists while also adding 5-points and winning the game-ending tip off last Friday night.

Morant leads the Grizzlies in points (19.1) and assists (7.5) per game. In his last two times playing the Jazz, Morant scored 32-points and 12-points respectively. His quickness and ability to finish at the rim are two parts of Morant's game that have stood out over the last two games between these two squads.

Fun Facts:

The Jazz will wear their 'Earned Edition' uniforms against the Grizzlies on Wednesday night. They are 2-1 when they wear the new green uniforms, with their last win in the Lime Green uniforms coming against the Toronto Raptors.

Utah's charter flight hit a flock of birds as they took off from Salt Lake City International Airport Tuesday afternoon. The plane suffered damage, but was able to turn around and make it back to the Salt Lake Airport safely. Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies sent their well-wishes to the Jazz on Twitter last night after news of the incident broke.

The Jazz tied a franchise record for most home wins in a row (20) as they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night. The 20-win mark matches the record held between February 26, 1998 and March 5, 1999.

Jazz newcomers Matt Thomas and Ersan Illyasova scored their first points in a Utah uniform against the Cavs on Monday night. Thomas finished with 5-points and Illyasova finished with 2-points.

They also lead the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets by three and a half games in the Eastern Conference.

The Memphis Grizzlies are 3-2 in their last five games, with wins over the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Houston Rockets. Both losses during that stretch of games came against the Utah Jazz. Memphis is currently in ninth place in the Western Conference with a 22-22 record.
