Despite being away from Salt Lake City for the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend, Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler is making some moves off the court. According to The Athletic's Tony Jones, Kessler is set to be joining with the Utah Prospects, the best AAU program in the state to be an esteemed partner and ambassador of the team.

The Prospects saw some success last year in 2023 when they came out with a win in the Adidas 3SSB U17 tournament. Now, Kessler gets to be a part of what this prestigious club is building.

The news was announced on Saturday when Kessler took to Twitter/X to comment on the partnership, voicing his excitement about working towards for the future:

Kessler is fresh off his second Rising Stars appearance alongside Jazz rookie Keyonte George. He ended up taking home a victory as a part of Team Jalen, defeating Team Detlef in the final game of the night. He's putting together a solid sophomore season in Utah, averaging 8.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks a game.

The Prospects themselves also took to Twitter/X to express their hype for the newly formed partnership:

Now, the focus for Kessler will revolve around building a great foundation with both the Jazz and his new AAU squad. The Prospects will get a chance to go back to back in the 3SSB U17 tourney this spring and summer when their events kick off in late April.
