The Utah Jazz took home a dominant win on Friday night in the Delta Center as they took down the Toronto Raptors, 145-113. It effectively sweeps them in the season series, 2-0, and lifts Utah to a .500 record for the first time since this team was 1-1 in October.

Utah put together a stellar performance offensively for their fourth straight win. Six players scored in double-figures, and the team as a whole shot an insane 48.6% clip on 21 three-pointers made. Lauri Markkanen led the way in the box score, scoring a team-high 22 points on a 7/11 clip.

The Raptors were also able to find some solid production from three, shooting an even better 50.0% clip on 17 makes. Still, it wasn’t enough for Toronto to end up on top due to Utah’s dominance from inside, considering they made just under 20 more shots from the field.

We were also fortunate enough to see rookie Taylor Hendricks and Brice Sensabaugh get some run towards the end of this contest. Sensabaugh secured the first NBA bucket in his career en route to five points and two assists, while Hendricks put together six points on perfect 2/2 shooting from deep.

All things considered, Friday was another positive performance from about everyone down the roster. With this team’s newly found production on the offensive end, it’s become a tougher challenge for opposing defenses to find an answer for it.

Now, the Jazz sit perfectly in 10th place within the West, just one game back from lifting even further to the 8th seed. Considering the recent excellence we’ve seen from this Jazz unit, the ceiling of this roster might just be unknown.

The Jazz can maintain their winning streak to five at home when the Los Angeles Lakers to Salt Lake City to tip off at 7:30 on Saturday night.
