NBA World Reacts to Damian Lillard's Game Winner vs. Kings

The Milwaukee Bucks took down the Sacramento Kings 143-142, and everybody watching knew how the game was going to end. After Kings' De'Aaron Fox made one of two free throws to take a two-point lead with five seconds left, it effectively became "Dame Time," as Bucks' Damian Lillard quickly took the ball down the court and pulled up from deep to beat the buzzer for the win.

It was a heartbreaking loss for the Kings, but all NBA fans outside of Sacramento went crazy for it. Here are some of the many reactions following the insane game-winner:

Many fans and sports accounts took to X to express their excitement over the Lillard buzzer-beater, but Kings fans seemed to be the least surprised group of people. Lillard is one of the best guards in the league and is known for clutch moments like these. While it is an incredible shot, the Kings had to do a better job preventing him from getting an open look with the game on the line.

Lillard also took to Instagram after the win, as he and his teammates all did the "Dame Time" celebration:

The Kings fought hard in Milwaukee, but ultimately, Lillard got the best of them in overtime. While they lost heartbreakingly, Sacramento must move on and not let this game get in their way. Despite the loss, the Kings had one of their best performances all season, especially with Keegan Murray getting hurt and Mike Brown getting ejected.
