With not even two full seasons under his belt as a Los Angeles Laker, shooting guard Austin Reaves is on the top of the world after some big performances in these past two weeks. With All-Star small forward LeBron James still out of the lineup and now D'Angelo Russell also dealing with a hip injury, it looks like the 24-year-old has emerged as their primary ball-handler for now.

James has been one of Reaves' biggest fans during this time period and has even taken to Twitter to share his excitement for his role moving forward.

However, it appears that Reaves himself has also been active in the past when talking about The King on social media and it wasn't always in the most positive light. In the earlier stages of LeBron's career, one of the biggest knocks on the rising superstar was that he hadn't won a ring yet.

He did not capture his first one until 2012 with the Miami Heat while arguably his biggest rival, Kobe Bryant of the Lakers, already had five to his name. Facebook was the most popular domain to debate and share NBA opinions at the time. An old post from Reaves has now surfaced where he shared a hilarious meme about his current teammate.

The image he posted showed a picture of a shrugging Kobe Bryant that was captioned "When I need some peace and quiet, I set my phone to LeBron mode, no ring," obviously alluding to the fact that James was 0-2 in NBA Finals appearances at that point. He is now 4-6.

This post is definitely nothing that will ruin the Lakers' current chemistry, nor will hurt Reaves' contract negations this summer but it falls under the growing list of social media posts that NBA players can look back on and see how they have aged.

I'm very confident that as long as Reaves continue to get to the free throw line at an elite rate and help the Lakers continue to fight for a playoff spot, LeBron will be willing to overlook this.
