Lakers News: How Accurate Were LeBron James’ Week 5 Sunday NFL Picks?

Lakers star LeBron James has been an avid fan of other sports since the beginning of time. He tunes in all the time and makes his opinions heard all over.

One of his favorite sports besides basketball is football, and he is consistently tuning in to the NFL. This season James has started to make videos early Sunday mornings where he picks his winners for the day.

He seems to know his stuff, and he tends to get more of the picks right than not. So, entering into week five of the NFL season, James once again made his game-day selections.

His week started very slowly with him taking the Washington Commanders to beat the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football, but Chicago destroyed Washington. So, it wasn’t a good start for him.

James picked the Buffalo Bills to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that was another loss for him. He took the Houston Texans to beat the Atlanta Falcons, and with the Falcons loss, that made it three straight misses for James.

His first win came with his pick of the Detroit Lions beating the Carolina Panthers. James picked up his fourth loss when picking the Tennessee Titans to beat the Indianapolis Colts. His second win came in an easy one, with his pick of the Miami Dolphins to beat the New York Giants.

His biggest loss came with his pick of the New England Patriots to beat the New Orleans Saints. New England got blown out 34-0 by New Orleans. His struggles continued with his pick of the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He did pick correctly in the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals game, taking the Bengals to get the road victory. He got back-to-back picks correct when he took the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the Los Angeles Rams.

His pick of the New York Jets to beat the Denver Broncos got him three straight picks correct, so James was on a roll. Another with the pick of the Kansas City Chiefs over the Minnesota Vikings, James got himself back to .500 with his picks entering into the Sunday night matchup.

James got back over .500 with his pick of the San Francisco 49ers to beat the Dallas Cowboys. So while it started very slow for James, things picked up for him in the late window. It was another solid Sunday for him, and with the Monday night game, the worst he could do for the entire slate is go .500. on his selections for the week.
