Your 38-38 Los Angeles Lakers are heading to the Target Center tonight, in the hopes of securing a road win against D'Angelo Russell's 39-38 Minnesota Timberwolves.

But LA may be missing its two best players this evening.

Per the league's latest injury report, All-Star Los Angeles small forward LeBron James is considered questionable to suit up, as he continues to work his way back from (or, perhaps, play through?) a right foot tendon tear that had sidelined him for a full month until last weekend. Following the team's last game, a 121-110 victory over the Chicago Bulls, head coach Darvin Ham indicated that James has been playing on a minutes limit. Will the Lakers opt for a little load management for their leader and top scorer as the playoffs loom?

Star center Anthony Davis is considered probable to suit up as he continues to recover from his right foot stress injury, which, lest we forget, the Lakers' medical staff considers active.

Elsewhere on LA's roster, reserve big man Mo Bamba is probably done for the regular season with his high left ankle sprain, though there's a chance he returns for the postseason. Two-way players Cole Swider and Scotty Pippen Jr., as usual, will be rested tonight.

The Timberwolves just lost key reserve big man Naz Reid for the rest of the season (and probably the entire playoffs, should they go far) due to a broken left wrist.

All-Star Minnesota shooting guard Anthony Edwards, forward Kyle "Slow-Mo" Anderson, wing Taurean Prince, reserve point guard Austin Reaves, and ex-Laker Matt Ryan are all somewhere between questionable and probable to play with illnesses.

Karl-Anthony Towns, who missed four months of action with a right calf strain, has looked good since returning to the floor last week, and is probable to play. Fourth-year Timberwolves backup guard Jaylen Nowell is questionable with a left knee tendinopathy.
