Lakers Highlights: LA Beats Warriors In Double-OT Via 36-Point, 20-Rebound LeBron Triple-Double

This was the game of the year.

Your Los Angeles Lakers escaped one of the greatest regular season games in recent memory tonight with a 145-144, double-overtime road victory over the Golden State Warriors.

This was an unbelievable game from start to finish, as LA came out strong, prior to struggling a bit in the second half, before ultimately coming back with a 27-19 fourth quarter performance. With an opportunity to close out the game, an injured Anthony Davis couldn't keep up with Stephen Curry, sending the game into overtime on a game-tying layup by Curry.

In OT, it went back and forth, with a series of unbelievable shots by both teams putting it into double-overtime. There, D'Angelo Russell hit a gutsy three-pointer and LeBron James took over, hitting a tough deep two..

This set the stage for an unbelievably open three-point shot by Stephen Curry (ignited by an uncalled illegal screen), which gave the Warriors a 144-143 lead with just 5.2 seconds to play.

On the ensuing inbound, LA ran a sideline-out-of-bounds for a LeBron isolation, where he took Jonathan Kuminga to the basket before being met by Draymond Green, who fouled him. James hit the ensuing two free throws, leaving the Warriors with the ball and no timeouts with 1.2 seconds to play.

A 3/4-court shot attempt by Stephen Curry wasn't close, as LA escaped with a victory.

Here some of LA's top plays in what should be remembered as arguably the best game of the regular season:
