Lakers News: Jimmy Kimmel Explains Magic Johnson Vacation Photoshopping
Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson has been able to put together quite the resume for himself even after his playing days. He remained close to the organization for some time as he attempted to coach the team after his retirement and then actually returned as their President of Basketball Operations and played a critical role in LA being able to sign LeBron James.
But the five-time NBA champion has also maximized his name in Hollywood and the business world. He is a famous investor in the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Washington Commanders and numerous Starbucks coffee chains.
Johnson's playing career was unfortunately cut short but he did not allow that to stop him from pursuing other dreams. He instead viewed it as an opportunity to try other lines of work and he even became the host of his own television show 'The Magic Hour' for about eight weeks.
Even though the show was short-lived, it caught the attention of other soon-to-be famous TV hosts such as Jimmy Kimmel. Johnson and Kimmel have become famous over the years for fake photos of the two of them hitting the internet that show them vacationing together.
Kimmel recently appeared on the Strike Force Five podcast and revealed the reasoning behind him photoshopping himself into most of Johnson's vacations.
"Most do not understand most are jealous I'm on vacation with Magic Johnson," joked Kimmel. "On Instagram, we photoshopped myself into Magic Johnson's annual vacation pictures, I think we've been doing it for like six or seven years. Every year, Magic and I have a serious conversation and he says 'I'm going to invite you on the vacation and then every year I see pictures and realize I'm not on the trip."

The bond these two have is uncanny and we'll either finally see official pictures of Kimmel traveling with Johnson or the photoshops will continue!
