Lakers News: Latest Bronny James' Update Comes With Twist Involving LeBron James

Bronny and LeBron playing with one another has been talked about for months, but will it happen?

There has been plenty of talk and rumors concerning whether Bronny James and LeBron James would be suiting up together. LeBron has openly spoken about wanting to join his son on whichever team drafts him.

While we doubt the Los Angeles Lakers would be willing to bring Bronny on to keep LeBron in the purple and gold, they are still rumored to consider that prospect. The issue is that Bronny is a bit rough around the edges, and many NBA executives have been calling attention to that. However, not all agree.

A new story on the possibility of Bronny entering the 2024 NFL Draft is spinning, and one executive believes that the possibility of Bronny joining the draft is high, and it would also be predicated on LeBron being part of that deal.

"I don't know that he's dead set on coming out. But I know some teams would consider drafting him on the hope they can sign LeBron, as well. A team would have to have room or have assets the Lakers would want, and I don't see that as likely, but I think there will be teams that will take that approach. I think everyone is preparing for him to go in the draft, and I'm dead serious -- I think a lot of teams will take the stance that they'll draft him if there's a 1% chance LeBron will join them. So, I'll be surprised if he doesn't enter. Will he stay in, I don't know."

The rumors began to arise on this story simply because LeBron stated he would go to whichever team would draft his son. That naturally led to speculation on which team would have the best chance at trading for LeBron.

Despite being 39 years old, James Sr. is still playing at a high level. Anyone trading for him would get a high-level player. The above executive also stated that many executives are preparing for Bronny to enter the draft and would jump at the chance to draft him if LeBron was even "1%" likely to follow.

Time will tell if LeBron and Bronny will hit the court together, but Bronny could also do well with staying and developing in college for at least another season.
