Lakers News: Stephen Curry Lists 3 LA Hall Of Famers In His All-Time Top 5

Some of our favorites!

It goes without question that the game of basketball would not be played the way it is today without Stephen Curry breaking onto the scene back in 2015 and taking over the league as the leader of the Golden State Warriors. He turned the NBA into a three-point dominated league and he made sure to play at a pace we had not seen in quite some time. Before we knew it, many opposing franchises were filling their rosters with as many shooters as possible and all positions were utilized as floor-spacers.

Even before LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers over Curry and the Warriors in the 2023 playoffs, he saw him plenty of times in the NBA Finals last decade and the two became one of the greatest rivalries of all time. Curry is still only 35-years-old and with some new pieces set to hit the court with him this coming season, he'll be looking to get his revenge at some point against LA.

But the sharpshooter always has studied the game and knows who is up there with him as truly generational talents. Curry was recently asked to name his All-Time NBA starting five and even though he humbly left himself off of it, a number of legendary Lakers superstars appeared.

"Stephen Curry may make it on a ton of fans' all-time starting fives but not his own.The Golden State Warriors star recently sat down with Buzzfeed for an interview and named his all-time starting five."

Michael Jordan and Tim Duncan are two of the greatest competitors to ever suit up for their respective franchises so these are excellent choices. Then you have three Los Angeles legends in Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal and Magic Johnson, all of who represented different eras of Lakers basketball.

At the end of the day, the greatest players will always show love to those who came before them and Curry did exactly that with this list!
