In this story:

The Los Angeles Lakers found themselves in another close game Friday night, once again against the Phoenix Suns. For the second time this season, LA was able to survive against Phoenix, while picking up their first win of their In-Season Tournament schedule as well.

LA trailed for the majority of the game, but a late-game run helped them steal the win over the Suns. Phoenix guard Grayson Allen spoke after the game about how the Lakers were able to come back, and he gave thoughts on the 19-2 run that LA had in the later stages of the game.

"They took advantage of us being aggressive on pick-and-rolls, bringing two to Bron."

Per Grayson Allen

The Lakers outscored the Suns by 10 in the fourth quarter, as they seized control of the game. It was a great comeback win for the team, and it was their first road win of the season.

LA had struggled playing games in Phoenix over the years, so it was nice to see them finally grab a win there. While the Suns weren’t completely healthy, neither were the Lakers, making it a compelling matchup. Both teams fought to the very end, and it was a great game to watch.

The Suns' shots stopped falling in the fourth quarter, and the Lakers took advantage of the opportunity by dominating them at their own game. When the Lakers are hitting their three-point shots at even a league-average rate, they are one of the toughest teams to stop.

We saw this at the end of the game against the Suns, and hopefully, the Lakers can continue to build on this performance. They need to start picking up wins to stay relevant in the Western Conference, otherwise, they will be forced to play catch-up in the standings again this season.
