Ex-Lakers Guard Keeps Hilarious Feud Alive with Dillon Brooks

In this story:
After an embarrassing playoff flameout with the Memphis Grizzlies, newly signed Rocket Dillon Brooks still can't escape the Lakers ridiculing him.
Though Houston took a chance on the All-NBA defender, the international stage proved another source for Brooks' humiliation at the hands of former member of purple and gold.
Playing for Team Canada, Brooks defended Germany's Dennis Schroeder and slipped after the guard baited the former Oregon Duck with a nifty dribble move.

Schroeder later deked Brooks with a fake pass before dishing it off into the corner for his countryman to hit the open three pointer and extend the German lead to 18.
Though Schroeder wasn't included in the list of names that LA brought back from their playoff core a year ago, it's still hilarious to see that there's no love lost between Brooks and the purple and gold.
After a game two victory where Brooks was jawing at Lakers superstar Lebron James, the young former Grizzly mentioned he didn't respect any player who didn't give him 40 points and that James was old.
While true that James isn't a spring chicken by any stretch of the imagination, he certainly looked young on two drives to the basket in Game 4 of the Grizzlies series to help the Lakers go up 3-1 at the expense of Brooks.
This came after a horrendous showing on both ends of the floor from Brooks in which he resorted to striking James in the groin to start the second half in efforts to stop the veteran.
Brooks was promptly ejected from game 3 after his antics and though he bounced back in game 5, the Lakers promptly ended Brooks' season in hilariously ironic fashion.
Rather than just one man putting 40 points on the former Ducks' head, the Lakers poetically ended Memphis' season with a, you guessed it, 40 point victory to send the young 2 seed home for the summer.
It's funny to still see that no matter what their ties to purple and gold may be, Brooks can't escape being toasted by the franchise one way or another.
