The Los Angeles Lakers got a much-needed win to close out the first-half of the NBA season on Wednesday. The Lakers beat the New Orleans Pelicans 120-102 in a wire-to-wire victory that had LA fans excited for the rest of the season.
The Lakers currently sit at 27-32 as the No. 13 seed in the Western Conference. However, they're very close to sneaking into the top 10 seeds and a spot in the Play-In Tournament.

Obviously it's just one win, but it's nice to see Laker fans excited again. This team showed a ton of promise in their win, and will have a full week off to continue to gel as a team and get ready for the final 23 games of the season.
