In this story:

In a recent episode of Paul George's own 'Podcast P', he touched on GOAT debates as a whole and took an interesting perspective. The eight-time All-Star talked about how there never really will be a set answer agreed on by everyone in those arguments and there can never be that one person that settles it once and for all.

George went on to talk about how that is the beauty of the sports world and that while everybody's individual game should be appreciated, the debating is what makes it so fun for analysts and fans.

But speaking of analysts, Fox Sports' Skip Bayless was joined by a number of new faces on 'Undisputed' now that Shannon Sharpe has made way to ESPN and among them was none other than former Super Bowl Champion and current analyst Michael Irvin.

Irvin kicked off his 'Undisputed' debut with a number of topics of conversation but one he honed in on regarded LeBron James' most recent season with the Los Angeles Lakers. The King helped lead the way to a Western Conference Finals appearance despite LA's shaky start to their 2022-2023 campaign and Irvin believes that if put in similar circumstances, Michael Jordan would not have matched this success.

"What LeBron did last year, Michael Jordan couldn't do, period. He couldn't take a late group, bring 'em together and take that group...to go on a run like that [to the Western Conference Finals]."

As James' career winds down, everybody is paying close attention to see what else he adds to his resume so they can compare his success to Jordan's.

Even though other superstars like Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo and others could have quite the number of accolades when they call it quits, we all know that James remains in a league of his own right now.

We'll never know how Jordan may have performed on that 2022-2023 Lakers squad but the debate between the two legends will stay forever!
