Orlando Magic vs. Portland Trail Blazers GAMEDAY Preview: How to Watch, Betting Odds, Injury Report

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic (1-0) hopes to remain unbeaten when it starts a four-game road trip tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers (0-1) at the Moda Center.

The Magic took care of business in its home opener on Wednesday, pulling out a 116-86 win against the Houston Rockets. Now, the team embarks on a west coast trip and starts it off with a game against the new-look Blazers.

The Blazers are entering a new era after trading Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks shortly before the season, and Scoot Henderson is taking over the reins as the team's new starting point guard. The Blazers lost their season opener on Wednesday 123-111 to the Los Angeles Clippers and are seeking their first win.

The Magic hopes to prevent that, and believes it can do that by sticking to the basics.

"I think we just keep working on principles," Franz Wagner said. "Take care of the basketball, and kind of see what the defense is doing. I think that's that's one thing we've gotten a lot better at is seeing what the other team is doing to us, and then kind of adjusting and communicating out there."
