In this story:

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks hit the road to take on Desmond Bane and the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night, looking for a third consecutive win and revenge after Memphis defeated them with Doncic out on Dec. 1.

The Mavs won their second straight game on Friday against the Portland Trail Blazers, 125-112. Dallas jumped out to a quick 15-point lead in the first quarter and fought off a comeback effort from Anfernee Simons and the Blazers. Doncic led the way for Dallas with 32 points, six rebounds, and 10 assists.

The Grizzlies fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night, 127-103. Memphis was outscored by 14 points in the third quarter to give Minnesota a double-digit lead and never looked back. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 21 points in the loss.

Going into Monday night's matchup, Dallas will be without Kyrie Irving (right foot), Grant Williams (right knee), Josh Green (right elbow), and Maxi Kleber (right small toe). For Memphis, they'll be missing Ja Morant (suspension), Marcus Smart (left foot), and Luke Kennard (left knee) while Jake LaRavia (left eye) is questionable.

Player Props / Our Picks

Luka Doncic O/U 34.5 Points: Over

With Irving out of the lineup, even more of the scoring load and focus will be on Doncic's shoulders, which luckily, is something he can carry. On the season, Doncic is averaging 31.9 points per game and over the last four games, is averaging 37.3 points. Look for Doncic to continue his hot streak on Monday.

Derrick Jones Jr. O/U 17.5 Points + Rebounds: Over

Jones has been a bit of a revelation for the Mavs this season as he earned a starting spot during preseason and has ran with it. Over the last five games, DJJ is averaging 21.4 points + rebounds per game. Take the over.

Derrick Jones Jr. O/U 0.5 Steals: Over

On the season, Jones is averaging 0.7 steals per game but has collected at least one steal in each of the last six games. Take DJJ to keep that streak alive against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Prediction: Despite the Mavs being without Irving on Monday, Dallas is riding a two-game winning streak while with Doncic playing at an MVP level. Take Dallas -2.5 on the road.
