All In for Trae: Nets' Offseason Trade Package for Hawks star

In this story:
There has been a growing rumbling around Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks. In the wake of the team's ongoing underperformance and failure to be in the mix with several Eastern Conference powers, Young's availability in the market continues to absorb intrigue and anticipation amongst several league circles.
It remains to be seen what would unfold about both the future and the existing partnership of Trae and the Hawks. But apparently, the Brooklyn Nets already drew regard as one of the teams who can build up a considerable package to acquire the All-Star point man.
Nets’ trade package for Trae
In a recent piece by Bleacher Report’s Andy Bailey, he named the Nets as one of the key teams who can make a solid pitch for Young.
In his personal trade proposal, the Nets will hand Cameron Johnson, Dorian Finney-Smith, a 2027 first-round pick (via Phoenix), a 2028 first-round pick, and a 2030 first-round pick swap to the Hawks in exchange for Trae.
Bailey considers the hypothetical transaction as a win-win for both sides, especially if the Hawks still desire to contend even with Trae out of their franchise. The trade gives them draft capitals and switchable 3-and-Ds in Cam and DFS, who can perfectly fit with Dejounte Murray. Meanwhile, the Nets will gain a true star in Young who can finally lift the team and create significant offensive opportunities.
“Mikal Bridges and Nic Claxton are solid, but both are probably one or two spots higher in the pecking order than they should be. Young would push them closer to their more natural roles, create better scoring opportunities for them (and everyone else on the team), and give Brooklyn the identity it's lacked for the last 12 months.”
No reason to be in a rush
It is still premature to assume that the Hawks will head towards a Young trade, considering that the rest of the season can offer them a late-season run. But should their position remain stagnant and their competitive intents come up short once again, the Nets truly have to keep an eye on and prepare for the potential looming sweepstakes.
For now, the Nets have no reasons to be hasty. For as long as their assets remain intact, they will always have a strong shot to land any bona fide star other than Trae that can help land back to relevance.
