Lillard regularly shows love to other stars around the league, and had a lot of good things to say about Jokic. All of what Lillard said is true, as the Nuggets big man truly does everything at an elite level, and does it with humility. An easy player to root for, Jokic has won over a lot of fans this postseason who may not have been as familiar with him prior to this run.
While it's hard to imagine a back-to-back MVP flying under the radar, many have admitted to not watching Jokic much before this Finals run. For whoever that may be, the Nuggets star has been showing them why he is so great. Players like Damian Lillard are well aware of what Jokic brings on a nightly basis, and shared that recently.
The Nuggets are still waiting for the completion of the Eastern Conference Finals, as the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat have reached a 7th game that will be played on Monday night.
