In this story:

The Denver Nuggets truly have a unique star in Nikola Jokic. With a skillset that is unlike anybody else in the NBA, or even NBA history, Jokic is truly one of one. While his passing separates him from all other centers, Jokic does have shades of other legendary big men in his post-up game and face-up game.

According to Jokic, Tim Duncan is one of the NBA legends he looks up to and models his game after. Speaking with reporters at NBA Finals practice on Wednesday, Jokic was asked about Duncan comparisons:

One of the greatest players in NBA history, Tim Duncan is certainly a great player for any big man to model their game after. Also with a similar demeanor to Jokic, Duncan was always quiet and went about his business. This is another element of Jokic's overall approach to basketball that makes him unique, and something Duncan was well known for as well.

Entering his first NBA Finals, Jokic is also looking to join Duncan as an NBA champion. This is the next step for Jokic's already legendary career, as he and his team are only concerned with winning it all at this point. Already a two-time league MVP, Jokic wants to add an NBA championship to his resume. With a great opportunity to do that this year, Jokic will look to lead his Nuggets past the Miami Heat.
