The Denver Nuggets are currently awaiting the outcome of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. Having swept the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver has been off for an entire week, and will not find out their NBA Finals opponent until Monday night's Game 7 is complete.

When asked recently about the Eastern Conference Finals, Nuggets star Nikola Jokic gave his honest reaction, saying he watched the first quarter of Game 5, but that was it:

This question was asked prior to the historic Game 6 between Boston and Miami, so it's currently unknown if Jokic was tapped in for that thriller, but he was honest about not being too invested in Game 5. This answer was hilariously on brand for Jokic, who is very reserved and family-oriented off the court.

Jokic's answers about how he planned to spend his free time after the Western Conference Finals included activities like watching horses race, spending time with family, and spending time at the pool. While the superstar center will certainly watch a significant amount of film with his team, closely watching the Eastern Conference Finals is not something he seems to be doing right now.

Denver's sweep of the Lakers has given them plenty of time to relax before the Finals, and plenty of time to prepare as well. While Jokic may not be overly invested in the Eastern Conference Finals, he will certainly be ready for whoever comes out of it.
