Nikola Jokic Surpassed LeBron James on Historic NBA List

In this story:
The 2023 NBA season was all about Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic. The Finals MVP broke countless records in route to Denver's first championship in franchise history, putting up a historic performance on a nightly basis. While all of these record breaking performances were well-covered as they occurred, a different Jokic record was recently uncovered by ESPN:
Nikola Jokic has led his team in points, rebounds and assists in 6 different seasons — the most by any player in NBA history 😳

Surpassing Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James for the most seasons leading a team in points, rebounds, and assists, Jokic stands alone as the only player in NBA history to do that at least six times. Having previously been tied with James in this category, Jokic overtook the Lakers star this season, and could very well add another such season to his resume next year.
This is the type of category that perfectly summarizes Jokic's game. Elie at everything, the Nuggets star also became the first player in NBA history to lead a postseason run in total points, assists, and rebounds. There is truly nothing that Jokic cannot do on a basketball court, and he proved that during this postseason run.
What made this run by Jokic so special, is that he and his team had to endure a lot of doubters throughout the regular season. Having previously fallen short of their ultimate goal, Jokic and the Nuggets silenced all of the noise with their historic run.
