WATCH: Myles Turner throws down highlight dunk on Giannis Antetokounmpo as Indiana Pacers beat Milwaukee Bucks

Turner threw down one of the best dunks of his career on Thursday night

Myles Turner threw down one of the best dunks of his career on Thursday night in Milwaukee against the Bucks.

In the fourth quarter, with the game nearly decided, Pacers guard T.J. McConnell drove from the top of the key down to the right block. He beat Bucks All-Star Jrue Holiday with his attack, so superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo rotated down to cut off McConnell's drive.

Antetokounmpo was defending Turner, so by shifting down to the block, Turner was open. McConnell flipped the ball to the center in the paint, and the Greek Freak attempted to make a stop. But the Pacers big man had already taken off for a dunk.

The Bucks MVP candidate was too far away to make a stop, but he still tried. Turner cocked his arm back, jumped from just outside the circle, and dunked all over Antetokounmpo. It was one of the best dunks of Turner's career, and you can see the video of it in the tweet below.

The highlight slam gave Indiana a 16-point lead, which was the final margin of victory in the game. The bucket effectively decided the outing.

Indiana defeated Milwaukee 139-123, and Turner finished with 11 points, eight rebounds, and three assists. The dunk capped off his night.

"MT two foot gather from the dots is an automatic ⚰️⚰️," Pacers forward Oshae Brissett said of the dunk on his instagram story.

The Pacers win over the Bucks was significant. It kept the team entrenched in the play-in race, and it was the first win for the blue and gold ever in Fiserv Forum. Indiana had not beaten Milwaukee since 2020 and had not taken down Antetokounmpo since 2018. The Bucks had won 10 in a row against the Pacers before yesterday.

On Thursday, the blue and gold ended all of those historic streaks, and the victory was highlighted by Turner's ridiculous slam. He is having a great season and has been excellent in the year 2023, and this dunk will never be forgotten.
