Raptors Eye Season Sweep of Kings as Playoff Seeding Battle Intensifies

The Toronto Raptors are on the second night of a back-to-back as they take on the Sacramento Kings inside Scotiabank Arena.

The Raptors beat the Kings in their prior meeting back in January. Now the two teams meet in Toronto, and the Raptors need the win badly. The Raptors are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, half a game behind the Atlanta Hawks for the number five seed, after losing to the first-place Detroit Pistons on the road last night.

The Kings find themselves on a four-game losing streak as they sit in last place in the Western Conference. They come into the game as a potential trap because they have two nights of rest more than what the Raptors are dealing with, so that could come into play at some point during the contest.

On top of that, the Raptors are dealing with a number of injuries and, being on the second night of a back-to-back, the team could be short-handed even more.

The key to victory for the Raptors is making sure Scottie Barnes outplays DeMar DeRozan. If Barnes can keep DeRozan to a respectable point total, the Raptors should walk away with a victory with ease.
