HOUSTON — Coach Ime Udoka isn't looking at home or road games when it comes to the Houston Rockets (0-2) ending their two-game losing streak Sunday against the Golden State Warriors (1-1). He is looking for consistency.

After sustaining an overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs Friday night, the Rockets will begin their seven-game homestand on a two-game losing streak.

They held a 10-point lead with 30 seconds left in the third quarter of Friday's overtime loss to the San Antonio Spurs. But due to Victor Wembanyama's dominance during the fourth quarter and overtime, the Rockets folded in the final 17 minutes.

"I look at the consistency of how we are playing," Udoka said. "There was some carryover from the things we did in Orlando to last night. But we are looking for more growth."

The backcourt pairing of Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet scored 46 points. But the most promising production came from Alperen Sengun. He finished the game with a team-high 25 points (11-of-18 shooting 1-3 on threes), 14 rebounds and seven assists against the Spurs.

Despite a one-handed dunk over Spurs' Zach Collins, Sengun's best play came on the defensive end. Wembanyama tried to take Sengun off the dribble midway through the fourth quarter, but the Turkish native pickpocketed the reigning No. 1 overall pick for his second steal.
