Rockets Likely to be Warriors' Stephen Curry's First Game Back from Injury

In this story:
In the Houston Rockets' most recent matchup against the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry was out, due to injury. As it turns out, it didn't seem to matter, as the Warriors emerged victorious, regardless, squealing out a 115-113 victory in overtime.
In the previous matchup between the two teams, the Rockets won 104-100, and Curry did play, although he was held in check, as the Rockets limited him to 14 points on 13 shots, going 4-of-13 from the floor and 2-of-9 from long-range.
When the Rockets square off against the Warriors this coming Sunday, Curry will likely be back, which would end his 25 game absence (and counting). Curry last took the court on January 30th.
Curry has been cleared for five-on-five full contact scrimmages and is targeting the Rockets game as his return date.
It goes without saying but Curry is quite familiar with the Houston Rockets. His Golden State Warriors ball club has faced off against the Rockets in the postseason in five different years.
Each time, the Rockets suffered defeat, although there have been a few occasions in which the series has gone the full distance to seven games. Just last year, to be exact.
Houston ended their four-year postseason drought and received a date with Curry and the Warriors, who held the seventh seed, while the Rockets ranked second in the West. The Rockets gave Curry quite literally all he could handle, and were physical with him throughout the series.
He got injured in the very next series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, just 13 minutes into the first game of the second round series and ultimately ended up missing the remaining entirety of the series.
The Warriors have gone 9-16 in absence of Curry in his latest injury and have gone 13-23 without the 12-time All-Star and two-time scoring champion in the lineup this season. The Warriors find themselves right at 10th place in the Western Conference, leaving very little breathing room for them, as it pertains to making the play-in tournament, with a 36-39 record.
As for the Rockets, they currently hold the sixth seed in the West, with a 46-29 record. The Rockets have won their last three games, with victories over the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans and New York Knicks.
Houston is in a dead tie with the Minnesota Timberwolves, who now own the tiebreaker, following their most recent overtime victory over the Rockets from last week.
