How to Bet Suns vs Pacers

The Phoenix Suns and Indiana Pacers square off tonight - here's two bets to earn some cold hard cash.

PHOENIX -- The Phoenix Suns ride a four-game winning streak into tonight's matchup against the Indiana Pacers: Here's how to bet Suns-Pacers.

Trend of the Game Pick: Pacers +4.5 (1 Unit)

The Suns are coming off a wire-to-wire outright win in New Orleans where they will host the Indiana Pacers as 4.5-point favorites. Flashback to Tuesday night, when the Suns hosted the Sacramento Kings as 4.5-point favorites, fresh off a victory in Portland.

Sacramento all but had the game won until the Suns rallied from a double-digit 4th quarter deficit, ultimately failing to cover the spread.

Stylistically, the Pacers and Kings play similarly – up-tempo, space the floor, and let their star guard, Tyrese Haliburton, run the offense. The Kings were coming off a draining overtime loss vs Milwaukee while Indiana dropped a game in Portland in Pascal Siakam’s Pacers debut.

Being favorites with high totals has not treated the Suns well this season (3-13 ATS). Phoenix is also 2-9 ATS when facing a team in the top-10 in Offensive Rating (Pacers are 1st), averaging a poor 125.5 Defensive Rating in those matchups.

Other Game Trends:

  • Suns are 0-6 ATS at Home when Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal all play, failing to cover by 8.3 points
  • Phoenix is 3-14 ATS (0-8 Last 8) when Durant plays in a game as a Favorite of 3+ and the total is 229 or higher
  • Rick Carlisle and the Pacers are 7-0 ATS and SU coming off an Away game that went Under and are playing a team that went Under in their previous game since 2022

Player Prop: Kevin Durant OVER 24.5 Points + OVER 4.5 Rebounds (0.75 Units)

There are a few reasons we could see this cashing: High game total, sportsbooks see this being competitive throughout and a bit of a revenge angle against Pascal Siakam.

The Pacers are dead-last in points allowed and 29th in rebounds allowed to Power Forwards. Hence, the mid-season trade and upcoming max contract for Pascal Siakam.

In the Suns-Raptors matchup earlier this season, Siakam and company held Durant to 11 for 30 shooting in a close loss.

However, Portland’s Jerami Grant scored 37 points while teammate Jabari Walker hauled in 12 rebounds on Friday.

Siakam is a good player, but not the answer. Also, the possibility of Kevin Durant at center increases if Phoenix or Indiana decides to play small. This would give Durant more opportunities for rebounds and more space on offense.

Durant has also surpassed 4.5 rebounds in his last 7 contests with Beal and Booker joining him and 24 off 33 games this year (73%).
