If it were up to sportsbooks, the Phoenix Suns would be heading into Tuesday's Game 5 with an opportunity to advance to the next round.

SI Sportsbook currently has the Suns as -1.5 point favorites over the Dallas Mavericks for Sunday's Game 4, and even after a lackluster offensive output from Phoenix on Friday the over/under is 214.5 points, a full seven above Miami-Philadelphia on the same day.

Turnovers were a point of focus for the Suns, as the backcourt duo of Chris Paul and Devin Booker combined for 12 on the night in what was an uncharacteristic outing from both.

After the loss on Friday, Paul said to expect better things moving forward.

“It’s tough because you’re putting them out there in transition,” Paul said on the turnovers.

“With a team like that, you start letting other guys get going. You see Jalen (Brunson) had a big game (with) 28 (points). I think if we take care of the ball, we get more shots at the basket. That’s on me. We ain’t but get up 76 shots and they got 90. That’s a huge difference. We’ll be better on Sunday.”

The Suns are currently -118 on the moneyline, with Dallas at an even +100. Phoenix has yet to lose consecutive games this postseason.

Phoenix, despite dropping Game 3, is still -500 on SI Sportsbook to win the series and reach their second Western Conference Finals in as many years. Dallas is at +375 to upset the No. 1 seeded Suns.

The Suns (+100) are the leaders to win the west, with Golden State edging behind at +140 odds.

According to Covers.com, road favorites have won outright 68.6% of the time this season.
