Fans Shouldn't Worry About New-Look Suns

In this story:
The Phoenix Suns added plenty of talent since the offseason first began, an incredible feat considering they already touted names in the likes of Kevin Durant and Devin Booker.
Winning the NBA Finals is top priority for a squad that has pushed their chips to the middle of the table, though that goal hasn't been achieved in recent years despite having capable rosters.
Will the 2023-24 Suns be different? Some are pessimistic, though Bleacher Report's Dan Favale says people shouldn't be, even in a tough Western Conference.
"Do not overthink the Phoenix Suns. They turned 38-year-old Chris Paul, Landry Shamet and picks and players that wouldn't contribute next season into a 30-year-old with an All-NBA ceiling. That is an atypically enormous win," wrote Favale.
"Worrying about the Suns beyond Bradley Beal, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant is fair. But they are also deeper than any team that had only minimum contracts to offer—and salary-dumped Cameron Payne—has any right to be. As yours truly wrote previously:
"'Eric Gordon and Yuta Watanabe would be in every single other NBA rotation. The same goes for Josh Okogie on most nights. Bol Bol (can he hold up on defense?) and Keita Bates-Diop (will his threes continue to fall?) have googly-eyed risk-reward profiles. Drew Eubanks and Chimezie Metu were available for a reason, but they bring versatility to the frontcourt. Damion Lee should have played more for the Suns last season.'
"Phoenix desperately needs a bounce-back defensive season from Deandre Ayton to actualize its peak. It also needn't hit its peak to absolutely dominate. The offense is going to be that transcendent. And for anyone concerned about the absence of a conventional floor general, I beg you, don't be"

Time will tell if the Suns can overcome the reigning NBA champions in Denver, though it's clear Phoenix went about their offseason the right way when it came to trades and free agency.
With a new head coach leading the way, another star added to the mix and depth now at a premium for the Suns, you should feel good about this team improving the upcoming season.
