In this story:

The Phoenix Suns have a busy few days before the season opener against the Golden State Warriors to begin the 2023-24 campaign.

Between deciding what player to let go, who to name the fifth starter, and preparing for the first game, there's plenty of decisions head coach Frank Vogel will have to sort through.

At the forefront of the prep for Game 1 is finalizing what the rotation will look like, at least for the opening stretch of the season.

We will dive into what the positional order on the depth should look like, and the numerical order of the rotation:

Depth Chart

PG: Devin Booker, Jordan Goodwin, Saben Lee

SG: Bradley Beal, Grayson Allen, Eric Gordon, Damion Lee

SF: Josh Okogie, Eric Gordon, Keita Bates-Diop, Nassir Little

PF: Kevin Durant, Yuta Watanabe, Chimezie Metu, Nassir Little

C: Jusuf Nurkic, Drew Eubanks, Chimezie Metu, Bol Bol, Udoka Azuibuke

Metu, Little, Diop and Lee all have potential to work their way up the totem pole. All four players are talented and bring positives to the floor that at least deserve a flier from the coaching staff throughout the season to prove themselves.
