The Phoenix Suns will be glad to return home after their four-game road trip finished with a 136-106 thrashing from the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, just the third time all season where Phoenix has allowed a team to score 130+ points.

Memphis had 100 with just under four minutes left in the third quarter.

The Suns now drop to 21-24 on the season and have lost their last nine-of-ten games. Memphis now extends their winning streak to ten games after losing to Phoenix on Dec. 27, their second longest winning streak in franchise history.

Still without Devin Booker, Chris Paul, Cam Johnson and Cam Payne, the Suns rolled out a lineup of Landry Shamet, Mikal Bridges, Torrey Craig, Dario Saric and Deandre Ayton to try and control the paint.

Mikal Bridges paced the Suns with 21 points. Deandre Ayton was close behind with 18.

It was Phoenix who initially shot out of the gate hot, emerging to a 36-29 lead after one quarter of play. It appeared the Suns had an answer for anything Memphis threw at them to begin action.

The game was tied at 70-70 in the early stages of the third quarter before the Grizzlies took over in what was a 39-point quarter for Memphis. They led by as much as 36 before the final buzzer sounded.

As a team, the Grizzlies shot an astounding 53.1% from the field with 43.2% from three-point land. They were able to dominate the boards with 52 rebounds to Phoenix's 37 while outscoring them 66-54 down low in the paint.

The duo of Ja Morant (29) and Desmond Bane (28) combined for 57 points on the night. Three bench players scored in double-digits for Memphis.

The Suns return home to face the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.
