Suns Top of Kevin Durant's Preferred Teams, Per Reports

In this story:
Kevin Durant in a Phoenix Suns uniform was once considered a pipe dream.
Over the last few weeks, rumblings between the Nets and Durant (along with Kyrie Irving) stirred the pot on potential trade talks. After Irving opted back into his player option for next season, the expectation was for Durant to remain in Brooklyn despite having no communication with the organization.
Now, Durant playing in a Suns uniform seems like a true possibility.
Just minutes after Durant reportedly requested a trade from the Nets, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported the superstar forward has two teams at the top of his wish list: The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.
Durant Has Phoenix Atop His List
Phoenix and Miami are among two of the teams that Kevin Durant has on his wish list, sources tell ESPN, but the Nets plan to move Durant where they can get the best possible deal. With four years on his contract, there's no shortage of teams willing to unload assets for Durant.

Arizona Sports' 98.7 FM John Gambadoro also reported the Suns have now shifted their focus on obtaining Durant.
Suns Shift Focus to Kevin Durant
Just told the Suns are now shifting their focus to Kevin Durant. They don't want to gut the whole team to get him but that discussion is now the main priority.

The mutual interest comes as no surprise, but will the Suns and Brooklyn be able to strike a deal? Will Phoenix be able to put together a package that will keep their roster intact?
Those questions will be answered in due time, yet it's no longer a question if Durant actually wants to come to Phoenix.
