When you're looking for somebody to vouch for new Phoenix Suns guard Damion Lee, you can stop the search at Steph Curry.

The Warriors posted a farewell message on Twitter to Lee, who spent the last four seasons with Golden State before signing with Phoenix in the offseason.

Curry, who is Lee's brother-in-law after Damion married his younger sister, sent him packing with a nice message for all of his 16.7 million followers on the app to see.

The Suns are hoping Lee can help bring some of that defending NBA champion swagger to Phoenix, something the team has fallen short on the last two seasons despite promising hopes each time.

Lee initially went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft and climbed through the ranks of the G League before seeing consistent time in the league.

Last season in 63 games played, the 29-year-old averaged 7.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and one assist per contest. He signed a one-year deal with the Suns in July for $2.1 million.
