OKC Thunder Forward Jalen Williams OUT vs. Boston Celtics

The Oklahoma City Thunder are taking on the Boston Celtics in its third straight Nationally Televised game this week. It continues a stretch of five straight tilts against NBA Playoff teams.
On Monday, the Thunder fell to the Denver Nuggets on the second night of a back-to-back splitting the set with the Nuggets 1-1 and the season series 2-2. In the midst of the game, the Oklahoma City Thunder saw All-Star Jalen Williams exit the game in the first half due to a hip injury.
After 14 minutes of action, Williams 12 points, two rebounds and six assists on 50 percent shooting but splattered onto the hardwood with a hard fall onto his right hip. As the Thunder were in the locker room for intermission, the team announced that its All-Star forward would be sidelined for the remainder of the game with a right hip strain.
The Santa Clara product has appeared on the initial injury report for the Oklahoma City Thunder's clash with the Green-and-White as out.
This is a massive blow to the Oklahoma City Thunder's offense and its chances in the Garden. The C's have tabbed Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis as questionable with Jaylen Brown's status probable ahead of this matchup.
It is unclear how long Williams will be in street clothes, but before tip-off of Wednesday's affair, Mark Daigneault will meet with the media where he will be asked for an update.
