Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard has been the hottest name on the NBA trade market. And rightfully so as a new contender has emerged for his talents.

Per various reports from NBA experts, the Raptors have emerged as potential suitor for the longtime superstar point guard. Which makes sense, as Toronto has been toggling between youth and good veteran players for a few years now.

While Toronto’s package could be enough to get it done, there’s always a chance outside help could jump in. And with its war chest of assets, the Thunder could help to make it happen for Portland and Toronto.

Here’s how Oklahoma City could get involved:

Toronto gets: Damian Lillard

Portland gets: Gradey Dick, Luguentz Dort, Gary Trent Jr., 2025 Raptors first round pick,2026 Clippers first round pick, 2027 Raptors first round pick

Oklahoma City gets: O.G. Anunoby

In the proposed deal, Toronto gets Lillard by giving up O.G. Anunoby, Gary Trent Jr., the newly acquired Gradey Dick and a few firsts. A small price to pay in order to keep both Scottie Barnes and Pascal Siakam around.

Oklahoma sends Lu Dort and a future Clippers first to Portland and gets Anunoby back, upgrading offensively on the wing and taking a shot that he could re-sign next year as a perfect piece next to their core.

Lastly, Portland gets a full-on youth movement: a 2023 lottery selection in Dick, a sharpshooter Trent Jr. who’s set to sign a new contract soon and defensive-minded Dort. All three of which who would fit seamlessly next to soon-to-be star point guard Scoot Henderson.

And to top it all off, the Trail Blazers also made off with three first round selections, all of which could yield solid positions in future NBA Drafts.
