Skip Bayless says Anthony Edwards' block 'the easiest you'll ever see'

"It was the easiest block ever. It turned into a dad block."

Well Wolves fans, you wanted the national media to take notice of your club and they have, for better and worse.

Anthony Edwards put on a show Thursday night scoring 44 points in the team's 113-111 win over the Pacers, capping it off with a game-saving block at the buzzer. Edwards' head hit the rim as he rose up to make the highlight reel block.

"I hit my head, I think on the rim. It's hurting real bad. And I landed on my wrist," Edwards told Bally Sports North's Marney Gellner after the win. "I ain't never jumped that high in my life."

Well that wasn't good enough for lifelong curmudgeon and everybody's least favorite sports talk personality Skip Bayless.

"This was killing a gnat with a sledgehammer," Bayless boldly proclaimed Friday on Fox Sports' Undisputed. "This was the easiest block you'll ever see because he's so far above it that I don't know."

"He's only above it because he's accelerating and he went and got it in a clear path," replied co-host Keyshawn Johnson. "Had he not went and got that, the ball hits the top [of the backboard] and falls right in."

"Oh you really thinks so? Jaden McDaniels is going to block that easy," responded Bayless.

"No he's not. Why didn't Jaden McDaniels go up and get it then," asked Johnson.

"Because Ant-man comes completely over the top of him," replied Bayless.

A little later on in the conversation Bayless repeats his statement that it was "the easiest block ever" and added to it saying: "It turned into a dad block."

Look, we're not sure what rec leagues Skip Bayless is in but we can't remember many average joes leaping over 10-feet in the air to make a block in ours.
