Retired NBA Player Jason Collins Has Tested Positive For Coronavirus

Retired Nets center Jason Collins announced Tuesday morning via Twitter that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Collins, who played 8 out of 13 seasons with the Nets, has been at home resting after going to the emergency room for tightness in his chest. Collins thanked health care workers for their efforts and asked everyone to continue to practice social distancing. There are more than 35,164 confirmed cases of the virus across the U.S and New York City has over 12,000 people who have tested positive.
