Damian Lillard Dislocates Left Index Finger

Damian Lillard suffered a dislocated finger Thursday night against the Lakers. X-rays were negative.

Not only did the Blazers give up Game 2 of their first round playoff series against the LA Lakers, but star Damian Lillard suffered a dislocated finger in the process. The all-star appeared to have suffered the injury to his left index finger in the third quarter of Thursday’s game during a steal attempt of Anthony Davis. He would not return to action and immediately underwent an X-Ray, the team announced. Results were negative. Lillard, who had 18 points at the time of his exit, later told reporters he would be back for Saturday’s Game 3 despite the issue.
