Injuries Plague NBA Playoffs Opening Weekend, Westbrook Key Contributor in Clippers Win Over Suns

The first weekend of the NBA playoffs was littered with injuries.

The first weekend of the NBA playoffs saw some substantial injuries. Giannis Antetokounmpo left the Bucks loss to the Heat with a back contusion. 

In the same game Tyler Herro suffered a broken right hand and will be out 4-6 weeks. 

Elsewhere, Ja Morant injured his hand in the Grizzlies loss to the Lakers. His status for game 2 is in doubt. 

Finally, Russell Westbrook struggled offensively for the Clippers shooting 3/19 from the field but his hustle defensively played a big part in Los Angeles win over the Suns.
