Steph Curry Sets Unprecedented NBA Record vs. Clippers

In this story:
Breaking records on a nightly basis, Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is a player unlike the game has ever seen. His shooting ability has changed the sport forever, and he continues putting the all-time three-pointers made record further and further out of reach with each game he plays.
With his 50-point explosion against the LA Clippers on Wednesday night, Curry became the first player in NBA history with at least 10,000 points off three-pointers alone. The next closest player is Ray Allen with 8,919. The stat was first reported on Twitter by WarriorsMuse:
Most Career Points from THREES alone:
— WarriorsMuse (@WarriorsMuse) March 16, 2023
1. Stephen Curry – 10,002
2. Ray Allen – 8,919
3. James Harden – 8,226
4. Reggie Miller – 7,680
5. Kyle Korver – 7,350 pic.twitter.com/AJGbyPxxl0
What is remarkable about Curry, is that while his three-point shooting gets so much attention, his finishing ability at the rim is often what sets him apart from other great scorers. The ability to get it done from anywhere on the court is one that Curry has mastered, and it was on full display against the Clippers on Wednesday night.
When asked about his finishing after the game, Curry said he is not concerned with the lack of credit he gets for that area of his game, but he knows it's something he needs to do well when teams run him off the three-point line. Curry's ability to break down the defense in so many ways is unlike anything the game has ever seen, and it's why he is in many ways at the peak of his powers at age 35.
