Steph Curry is in agreement with his teammate Draymond Green that the Golden State Warriors do not have a rivalry with the Memphis Grizzlies. Curry kept his answer short when asked about this, shutting down the idea that Golden State and Memphis are rivals:

Draymond Green was more elaborate with his answer, saying, "One team has to win, and then another team has to win. That's what creates a rivalry. Not because one team gets up for you and talk like they can beat you and then not. That doesn't create a rivalry. Rivalries are created by you win, I win. Clearly, we've won four times, and I think their organization has zero championships, so l can't consider that a rivalry."

While neither Green nor Curry consider the Grizzlies rivals, there does seem to be an added level of intensity whenever the two teams face off. This may not constitute a rivalry, but it does make for some exciting matchups. With how the standings sit currently, it does feel as if there's a chance for the Warriors and Grizzlies to face off in the first round. If this happens, fans should expect some fireworks, much like there were in last year's Western Conference Semi-Finals series.

If the Grizzlies were to knock off the Warriors in a playoff series, then perhaps a rivalry would be born. Until then, nobody on Golden State's side sees it that way.
