The Jets defense had its best game by far this season by sacking Ben Roethlisberger seven times and holding Willie Parker to 52 yards on 21 carries. New York came in ranked 30th overall on defense and last against the run, with just nine sacks on the season.
Jets 19, Steelers 16, OT
Mike Nugent kicked a 38-yard field goal 5:03 into overtime to give the Jets an unlikely victory over the Steelers. The kick broke a six-game losing streak for the Jets (2-8), who celebrated their first win since Week 3 against Miami.

Terrell Owens' four touchdown catches were all the scoring the Cowboys needed to get to 9-1 for the first time since 1983. Owens caught eight passes for 173 yards against the Redskins.
Patriots 56, Bills 10
Not to be outdone by T.O., Randy Moss caught four touchdown passes Sunday night against the Bills, all in the first half.
Patriots 56, Bills 10
Tom Brady had a lot to smile about, going 31-for-39 for 373 yards and five touchdown passes, four to Moss, as the Patriots became the 10th team since 1970 to start a season 10-0.
Rams 13, 49ers 9
The Rams' defense had given up over 120 yards per game on the ground going into Sunday, but held Niners' running back Frank Gore to just 32 yards on 15 carries.
Browns 33, Ravens 30 OT
Browns kicker Phil Dawson celebrates the call reversal to count his 51-yard field goal at the end of the fourth quarter to tie the score, paving the way for an overtime victory for Cleveland.
Cardinals 35, Bengals 27
Cornerback Antrel Rolle does a flip after scoring on a 54-yard interception return with 25 seconds left in the game to seal a victory for the Cardinals over the Bengals. Rolle had already scored on a 55-yard interception return in the first quarter and had a 71-yard return wiped out by an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
Packers 31, Panthers 17
Brett Favre threw three touchdowns in a game that featured the oldest starting quarterbacks duo in NFL history, the 44-year-old Vinny Testaverde and 38-year-old Favre.
Packers 31, Panthers 17
Tight end Donald Lee caught five passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns against the Panthers, helping the Packers go to 9-1, their best start since 1962 (10-0).

Seahawks 30, Bears 23
Matt Hasselbeck completed 30 of 44 passes for 337 yards and two touchdowns against the Bears, despite needing electrical stimulation on his strained side muscle while he was on the bench.
Colts 13, Chiefs 10
After missing four consecutive field goal attempts, two the previous week and two against the Chiefs, Adam Vinatieri made a 24-yard kick with four seconds left to give the Colts a victory over Kansas City.
